David Anderson

David Anderson

David Anderson is someone who counts himself lucky to be an actor. His incredible good fortune includes him here as RAY, and area roles in Cherry Docs (Acropolis Stage Company), Sylvia (Theater Uncorked); NSFW (Theatre on Fire); Three Exits (Providence Fringe); Zeitgeist Stage Company’s Love! Valour! Compassion! (IRNE, Best Actor-Fringe; IRNE, Best Play) and Faceless (IRNE, Best Play); Incident at Vichy (Praxis Stage); The End of the World (Boston Actors’ Theatre); Hard and Fast: A Love Story (Boston Public Works), Uncle Vanya, Long Day’s Journey Into Night and Moon for the Misbegotten (4th Wall Stage Company); Peggy Pickit Sees the Face of God (Apollinaire); Sisters Rosensweig (MMAS); Vinegar Tom (Whistler in the Dark; Hubbie 2013, Best Ensemble). His mentors from Middlebury College (B.A.), UCI (M.F.A.) and Freehold Theatre Lab in Seattle (Meisner Lab) are always on his mind. In addition to his duties as a dad and advocate for his autistic son, David fancies himself an improvisational carpenter/lighting designer and moonlights as a high stakes No Limit Texas Hold ‘Em Player. He was featured prominently in ESPN’s final episode of the World Series of Poker 2005 in its “The Nuts” segment. He should’ve won.
