Mac Ritchey

Multi-instrumentalist and music producer Mac Ritchey has been turning knobs and tracking audio for over 30 years, spanning genres from Turkish classical to heavy metal, from electronica to guided mediation… But this is the first time he and his wife Korinne get to play in the theater sandbox together! As a member of various ensembles – 35th Parallel, Esthema, Dunham Shoe Factory, and The Response – Mac gets to wear a variety of sonic hats. He has toured the US over the past two decades, performing, educating, and sharing his love for multicultural music through his primary instrument, the oud (Arabic lute). As an acclaimed music engineer/producer and proprietor of Possum Hall Studios in Carlisle MA, his production credits include The Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, MTV The Real World, Native American Music Award 2008 “Best Instrumental Album of the Year” and Grammy Entry List, and the daytime drama All My Children.
